The lights, even during rehearsal, felt cinematic. Kevin and the crew were incredibly kind \u2014 calm, focused, dialed in. You could feel the intention behind everything.<\/p><p data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"620\">When doors opened, the room filled fast. Madison showed up.<\/p><p data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"935\">We built the set to ease people in \u2014 starting atmospheric, almost restrained. <em data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"712\">Slow Orbit<\/em> into <em data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"733\">Glass Horizon<\/em>, letting the textures sit before pushing the energy forward. There\u2019s something intense about playing to a crowd that didn\u2019t come specifically for you \u2014 you have to earn every second of their attention.<\/p><p data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"967\">By the third song, it shifted.<\/p><p data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1161\">Heads started nodding. A few phones came up. Then the cheers got louder between transitions. That moment \u2014 when you feel the audience lean toward you instead of away \u2014 that\u2019s the one we chase.<\/p><p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1264\">Right before our last song, we looked at each other and just smiled. No overthinking. Just gratitude.<\/p><p data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1432\">Opening for a band that shaped so much of our sonic world felt full circle. Psychedelia, space, groove \u2014 but also vulnerability.
